Jenna Pollard: Hermia/ Fairy 1 |
Jenna Pollard is a recent graduate of Actors Centre Australia, where she found her experience nothing short of amazing. Orginally from the country town of Wagga, she packed her bags, as they say, and decided to follow her dream. Being a dancer all her life the diligence and knockbacks she has already encountered has well and truely prepared her for her journey ahead. Final year of Drama school gave her the opportunity to work with Mr George Olglevy, whose passion and persistence in the industry gave her a completely new respect and perspective on her craft. She has played Edna in Clifford Odets Waiting for Lefty, Elizabeth in Arthur Miller's The Crucible, Miss Gibbs in Thornton Wilder's Our town, Esculas in Measure for Measure and Irina in Anton Chekhov's The Three Sisters. This will be her stage debut since graduating in June which she finds both an honour and a privledge. |

Ben Elliott - Musical Director |
Ben Elliott is currently completing his 3rd year of a Bachelor of Music/Arts voice major at the University of NSW. The Taming of the Shrew has presented an interesting challenge for Ben being the first show that he has composed the score for, as well as being the first show where he hasn’t been involved in the performance run. In his ‘spare’ time, Ben teaches piano at North Newtown public school and is also working towards the release of his first EP. |
