The Comedy of Errors

The Comedy of Errors tells the story of two sets of identical twins that were accidentally separated at birth. Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant, Dromio of Syracuse, arrive in Ephesus, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, Antipholus of Ephesus and his servant, Dromio of Ephesus. When the Syracusans encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to wrongful beatings, a near-seduction, the arrest of Antipholus of Ephesus, and accusations of infidelity, theft, madness, and demonic possession.

Tickets may only be purchased at the venue on the night of the performance from 6.30pm onwards. Cash only - the theatre company has no facilities for processing credit or debit cards for ticket purchase.

• Can I book in Advance?
Sorry, there are no advance purchase bookings because we are dependant on the weather.
• What about discounts for groups?
Yes, we do discounts for groups - a group of 20 or more pay only $15 per head instead of $20 per head. Either way children 12 and under are free! Please ask for the discount at the ticket office when buying your tickets, or contact us in advance by email if you have a really large group or phone 9906 3399.
• What happens if it rains?

In case of bad weather, check the Weather Alert page on the website or phone 9906 3399 for advice on cancellations

If the Shakespeare on the Green management declares the performance "rained out" after you have purchased your ticket, an announcement will be made advising you that the session is cancelled and your ticket will be revalidated as a rain-out ticket and that it can be used for another night later in the season (subject to capacity). It is only valid for the current season.

You must hold on to your tickets and they must be intact. You must ensure before leaving the venue that Shakespeare on the Green staff have re-validated your ticket with the theatre company's stamp.

If rain or other bad weather causes cancellations on the last night of the season, there will be no refunds.

WHAT TIME DOES THE PERFORMANCE START?
